I’m Katherine.

I help people access the wisdom of their bodies in order in order to heal core wounds and reduce their emotional suffering.

WELCOME

WELCOME

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with a masters degree from NYU, and two years of post-graduate training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. However, that doesn't mean I will ever pretend to have all the answers

Healing isn’t always about looking for answers; it’s about learning to just be.

Often, people look around for complicated solutions, but in my experience, most solutions are quite simple (albeit challenging).

I teach people how to do more by doing less—to step back and listen to themselves and allow natural healing processes to unfold.

You’ll learn how to slow down, pay attention, and tune into the wisdom and power you already have inside, so you can feel free to experience true joy and healthy connection with yourself and others.

As a somatic therapist, I find profound hope and optimism in the work that I do.

It’s incredibly fulfilling to see people release the blockages they’ve been holding for so long and welcome back in the parts of themselves that they’ve hidden away. To bear witness to that transformation is very special.

Every person has an innate capacity for healing.

We just need to create the right conditions for you to thrive.

If you, like many people (myself included), have tried conventional talk therapy and found that nothing really changed for you, you may feel frustrated and wonder if you’re unfixable. And that would be understandable. You deserve to know that there are other options out there for you that will probably be much more effective for you.

My hope is that you no longer feel alone with that unbearable pain you’ve been carrying. My goal is to provide you with the knowledge you need in order to understand and seek out a different kind of care that may better meet your needs.

Katherine has helped me see all parts of myself and sat with me in sessions while I explored heavy topics such as grief, and pain. She has a calming presence and pays close attention to how her client responds to meditation and breath work. She is an exceptional trauma therapist. I would highly recommend her services.”
